Call for Proposals: Strengthening Civil Society Through Arts & Culture
The Open Society Arts and Culture Program works at the nexus of arts, culture, human rights, and social advocacy. Through its grant program, the program strives to encourage broad-based critical reflection and catalyze social action in parts of the world where open societies are absent or weak, and where the cultural rights of minority groups are endangered. Eligible projects aim to draw on the power of culture to help build open societies in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), the Caucasus, Afghanistan, Moldova, Mongolia, and Turkey. The grants cover travel costs. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis through December 31, 2012.

Artists' international development fund
The Artists' international development programme is a £750,000 fund, jointly funded by the British Council and Arts Council England. The programme offers early stage development opportunities for individual freelance and self employed artists based in England to spend time building links with artists, organisations and/or creative producers in another country.
Art Moves Africa offers travel funds to artists, arts professionals and cultural operators living and working in Africa to travel within the African continent in order to engage in the exchange of information, the enhancement of skills, the development of informal networks and the pursuit of cooperation.
ECF Collaboration Grants fund transnational, cross-sectoral activities by independent cultural and artistic organisations working together or with organisations from other sectors (outside the cultural field). The grant opens on 20 February and the deadline is 2 May.
Arts Development Fund (Cultural Exchange Project) Hong Kong
The Arts Development Fund administered by the Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau aims at advancing cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and other places, promoting local arts and culture, and enhancing Hong Kong’s international image. Individual/organisation applicants must be Hong Kong residents or registered local organisations, on official invitations abroad. The grants cover part of the travel and other costs.

The Roberto Cimetta Fund is launching the second 2012 open call for travel grants from 1st to 31st March 2012. Artists and cultural professionals living and working in the Euro-Arab and Mediterranean regions can apply. Priority is given to mobility from the South and East of these regions. 20th International Competition of Young Dance Performers
The 20th International Competition of Young Dance Performers OPUS 1 – short dance piece 2012 (Celje, Slovenian National Theatre Celje, 9th June at 5 pm) is open to dancers born between 1988 and 2003. The aim of the competition is to promote contemporary dance and discover fresh talents from all over the world. The organiser of the competition publishes a topic every year that the young dance performers must use as a basis for their short dance piece; in 2012 the topic is "Literature and dance". Sarajevo Talent Campus Call for Entries 2012
Sarajevo Talent Campus aims to enhance theoretical and practical education of young film professionals through its program of intensive workshops, lectures, panel discussions. Young scriptwriters, directors, actors, producers and film critics from Southeast European countries are invited to submit their applications. Sarajevo Talent Campus will provide free accommodation. Green World Art & Culture Festival – Odisha (India)
The Green World Art & Culture Festival (GWAF) –Odisha is a world initiative led by a Group of Artists and has become a space for artists across the world that nurtures creativity and imaginative art practice. The Festival has been the destination for performing artist around the world for being open and welcoming to artists and has been a venue for participation, exchange, discourse, dialogue, debate and a space that is an incubator for contemporary art experimentation that focuses on the process. Film d'animation: International residencies and writing grants
The Abbey of Fontevraud proposes creation residencies to animated films authors. The residents are given a writing bursary of 1200 for the residency, wich will take place from october 15th to november 15th. The residency lasts one month (dates have to be precised between the resident and the abbey team). Read all the details and apply by 13 April.
Call for applications for female directors workshop with Kama Ginkas, St. Petersburg, Russia
The workshop will focus on Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen. The working language will be Russian with translation into English. For interested persons Russian Theatre Union will cover accommodation costs in St. Petersburg May 5-10. Travel expenses are to be covered by the participant. Deadline for application: 5 April.
MAP/P / Mostra de processos / Portugal
MAP/P is a presentation place to the creative process related to a piece. A time to share with the audience the research, essays, reflections, selection, collections, work material. The emphasis isn’t focused on the final product, but the on sharing of the creative process and all the research done to a specific piece. The presentation to the public, which may take the form of performance, exhibition, video, video conferencing, chat, portfolio analysis, or whatever, should be a moment of sharing with the audience the research directed to creation. MAP/P is open to any artist (Portuguese or international), whose work uses movement as a root to create – movement based works. Applications are open until 1 May.

The European Festivals Association (EFA) and the Ljubljana Festival are delighted to announce the launch of the Open Call for Application for the fifth edition of the Atelier for Young Festival Managers from 14-21 October 2012 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The International Summer School is part of the project “Stories of stars and acrobats- forms of theatre between Turkey and the EU", co-funded by the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Turkey. The International Theatre Summer School foresees two different Classes, held by international masters. An intercultural and multidisciplinary approach is the core of the Summer School Classes.

International Artistic Mobility and Territorial Diplomacy – public debate in Guimarães
In collaboration with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Guimarães, European Capital of Culture 2012, the Roberto Cimetta Fund will be organising a one-day event on the theme «International Artistic Mobility and Territorial Diplomacy» on Thursday 24th May 2012 in Guimarães, Portugal. In the public debate, open to all, participants can voice their opinions openly and meet panellists directly during speed-meetings. Registration is free.

The Euro-Mediterranean Youth Music Expo is an international 4-day event to be held in Limassol Cyprus from the 28th of September to the 1st of October, which combines various modalities of high-level youth music activities and productions embracing all musical genres. The Expo will bring together over 200 young musicians (young soloists, youth bands and orchestras from all musical backgrounds, classical, ethnic, jazz, rock, hip-hop, reggae etc), music teachers, organizers and professionals altogether related for a multilevel educational and artistic fair which includes workshops, seminars, open-air public concerts, music labs and more!
