FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
U.S. VISAS AND U.S. TAX REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS:
Artists from Abroad: International cultural engagement fuels creativity, supports diplomacy, and enriches artistic offerings in the United States and abroad. Navigating the process of obtaining nonimmigrant visas and understanding U.S. tax regulations can be challenging, but with the right information and careful planning, you can successfully present artists from abroad to American audiences. Whether you are a novice or veteran of the immigration and tax process, reviewing the site in its entirety, and referring back as we update the materials, will pay dividends. Changes will be made regularly to reflect new rules and procedural changes at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of State, and Internal Revenue Service. The site is searchable – or feel free to print the text as a resource! We hope you find this site helpful when presenting international guest artists.
CWA Management: CWA Management is recognized by the IRS as a U.S. Central Withholding Agent and authorized to negotiate a Central Withholding Agreement with the IRS.

Tamizdat Artist Services: For the performing artist, touring in the U.S. can be enormously rewarding. But getting in to the U.S. can be very difficult. In most situations, foreign performers need special visas to enter the U.S., but getting these visas can be expensive, slow, and confusing. Most touring performers get the help of a visa professional when they are coming to the US, and most turn to Tamizdat. Tamizdat’s friendly staff is made up of arts professionals who understand your needs, and who work to get you the visa you need, affordably, and on time.
