Announcing ARC’s New Safety Guide for Artists
From Uganda to Vietnam to Cuba, artists around the world are at risk. Never before has PEN America’s Artists at Risk Connection (ARC), which links imperiled artists to resources, received more calls for help.

That’s why today we are publishing A Safety Guide for Artists, a first-of-its-kind manual that offers practical strategies for artists to understand, navigate, and ultimately overcome risk. While such tools have been developed for journalists, human rights defenders, and cartoonists, no guide has been designed specifically for artists. That changes today.

Also available in Spanish and French.
