This summer, Masrah Ensemble conducted a pilot program with preteens participating in the Jusoor Syria Refugee Education Program in Lebanon. The workshop was facilitated by volunteers and concluded with presentations of works-in-progress.
We hope to raise enough funds to ensure that the next rendition of the theatre workshop builds on the forays we made this summer.
With more time for the workshop and a more diverse and committed pool of workshop leaders, we can provide a substantive educational opportunity that will challenge participants and sharpen their focus, listening, team work skills, and imagination.
Masrah Ensemble’s workshops compliment our artistic and other educational programs. They provide essential time and space for talent to burgeon just as they promote theatrical exchange and plant the seeds of new collaborations.
