International Grants Announced
The Foundation's USArtists International program awarded over $198,000 in the second of three grant rounds to be conducted in its 2014 fiscal year. The program is dedicated to ensuring that the excellence and diversity of the performing arts in the United States is represented abroad. The grants will support 26 ensembles and soloists from across the country to perform at 32 different festivals in 17 countries over six continents. Grantees range from Honolulu's Makana to the Uptown Jazz Orchestra of New Orleans, and from Dance Theater of Harlem to Ragamala Dance of Minneapolis.
