When Jonah and Adray cross the border into Tijuana for a quick vacation, they stumble off the beaten path and come face to face with a Mexican couple in an alley. What ensues is a humorous and complex dance that explores and challenges notions of boundaries, safety and identity.

A whimsical piece in Clown style and no spoken word by recent graduates from Mexico City's National Theater School. In this allegorical tale, two travelers meet on the open road. Inspired by a bird's flight, they attempt to build a flying machine. After their many comical attempts to fly fail, they discover through their imagination that true freedom lies within.
Presented in collaboration with Community League of The Heights & PS4/M The Duke Elllington School.
With special support from The Mexican Cultural Institute of New York.
The Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc. will present on April 15 a second performance of Pájaro (Bird) and a Clown Workshop for children at Sunnyside Community Services After-School Program at PS150. 34 Puñaladas is one of the most original Tango bands working today in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Formed in 1998, the band has explored the dark roots of Tango from the 1920's and '30's by focusing on the gritty themes of drugs, women, vice and bitter love.
