The USArtists International program awarded $113,910 in the first of three grant rounds to be conducted in the current fiscal year.  The program is dedicated to ensuring that the impressive range of the performing arts in the United States is represented abroad, and strengthens the creative and professional development of American dance, music and theatre artists by supporting their performances at significant international festivals and engagements representing extraordinary career opportunities. The grants will support 15 dance, music and theater ensembles and solo artists from across the United States to perform at 17 different festivals in 13 countries over five continents. Grantees range from The Paul Dresher Ensemble of San Francisco to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Memphis to Brooklyn's Theater of the Emerging American Moment.   A complete list of grantees and festival engagements can be found here
