Dear colleague, Both Theatre of the Oppressed and Playback Theatre have developed powerful techniques for animating community groups. Both have spread throughout the world because there is a need for ordinary people to have a voice. Every Playback Theatre practitioner will benefit from some TO tools; every TO person's capability will be enhanced by some knowledge of PT. In this workshop, you will deepen your knowledge under the dynamic leadership of Marc Weinblatt and Hannah Fox, two leaders in their fields who have together taught hundreds of TO and PT performers. The five-day workshop is called Vision into Action. It will take place at Manhattanville College over the days of July 1-5. You can sign up for the commuter rate, if you wish (M'ville is a short train-ride from NYC).
