ShadowLight Productions proudly presents the first workshop presentations of Ghosts of the River, a new multidisciplinary shadow theatre work that tackles the highly charged and complex subject of the US/Mexico border by illuminating the lives of the people on both sides of the divide.  This is a place where legitimacy and hope are only a river away.  >>more info>>

Ghosts of the River marks Octavio Solis and Larry Reeds second collaboration after the highly acclaimed 7 Visions of Encarnacion (Brava Theater Center, 2002). The project is inspired by Solis’ personal experience growing up in El Paso, Texas, and his recent extensive interviews with residents, immigrants (legal or otherwise), their families, law enforcement officers and immigration lawyers in the city.  Ghosts of the River will also feature art direction by Favianna Rodriguez, whose dynamic print work has been inspiring people and communities across the Bay Area and beyond.   >>more info>>
