Enriching encounters, development of professional network, artistic inputs are, among others, wordings we like to associate with the positive impacts of the mobility of artists and cultural professionals (eg. cultural mobility). However cultural mobility too often implies difficult practicalities and administrative problems concerning social security and taxation systems for mobile artists/cultural professionals or employers/cultural organisations within the European Union.

You can now make your voice heard about these challenges concerning social security and taxation systems within the EU! Following a request of the European Expert Network on Culture (EENC), On the Move is conducting a survey to gather, by means of a questionnaire, first-hand information and experiences on the current difficulties and obstacles encountered by artists and cultural professionals working across borders within the European Union. Thanks a lot for devoting 15 minutes of your time to answer this questionnaire before the 31st of October!

Beyond this questionnaire, discover in this October newsletter:

1) OTM’s repertory of web-links on cultural mobility in Latin America (made in cooperation through a staff exchange with OTM’s member RES ARTIS),

2) OTM cultural mobility funding guide for Greece (in cooperation with Busart)

3) and of course our latest news and deadlines’ reminders related to cultural mobility opportunities in Europe and worldwide with travels funded. Much more is available weekly on our website and our facebook page!

Thank you,

The On the Move team
