2011 European Year of Volunteering (EYV)The European Commission has designated 2011 as the "European Year of Volunteering".EU Call for proposals launched for cultural cooperation projects with Mexico (deadline: 3 May)The cooperation projects to be co-financed through the call are bi-annual (20011-2013) and shall involve cultural cooperation with Mexico's cultural organizations and involve cultural activities carried out in Mexico.Culture in Motion Conference and the Stakeholder Consultation Meeting for the future Culture Programme, 15-16 February, BrusselsWhat is the added value of transnational cultural cooperation projects supported by the EU and what does European financing enable the cultural sector to achieve that would not have been possible otherwise? The European Commission is organising its 3rd Culture in Motion Conference 15-16 February 2011 in Brussels in order to help answer these and other questions.

Delphic Art Movie Award, Show the Power of Art – Develop the Intercultural Dialogue – Call for Entries (deadline: 31 January)Admitted to the Delphic Art Movie Award are digital documentary short films (maximum duration: 10 minutes including credits), to show the world which artistic achievements of the last years have influenced the culture of a country. The films should ideally be a collaboration of film-makers and art historians / artists.
