Dear friends and colleagues !
As we already informed you during this year, we will have a big celebration to honour the 150th birthday of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov in the provincial town Elez. It was this theatre in Elez, where Nina Zarechnaja was going to start her engagement for the winter. (Seagull, IV act).
On this stage we play and listen to Chekhov scenes in different languages. Some of you will travel to this event.
But we like to invite ALL artists to travel with us in spirit and want to ask you to send for this event a postcard from your hometown or your theatre to Elez.
Please do this within this week – the post travels to Russia not much faster then in Chekhov’s times.
