www.on-the-move.org is a website dedicated to information about international mobility in the areas of theatre, dance, music and other performing arts disciplines. We issue a regular bulletin with opportunities for the mobility of artists and other performing arts professionals plus news, policy and resource items that specifically concern international mobility.
You are invited to send us news and announcements with specific opportunities or information, to facilitate and encourage cross-border professional mobility in the contemporary performing arts. Falling Wide Easter School (Skinner Releasing Technique), London 7-25 Apr The only opportunity outside the USA to intensively study the pioneering Skinner Releasing Technique, alongside improvisation and performance creation with leading international dance artists. International Summer School for Young Theatre Artists, Moscow Region, Jun 2008 (deadline: 3 Mar) Theatre Union of Russia, following the success of 2007 Summer School, will host its second Summer School for Young Professional Actors from June 1 to June 28, 2008 in the old Russian town of Zvenigorod. Artists from any country may apply. Basic knowledge of Russian is required. European Diploma in Cultural Project Management 2008/09 (deadline: 15 Jan) The European Diploma in cultural project management is a pan-European training program arising from the will to foster cultural diversity as well as trans-regional and transnational cultural exchanges. The Hicter Fondation is the organizer and manager of the course.
