Delegation of the European Union to Morocco: Call for proposals on local cultural activities (deadline: 1 Sept)This action aims at furthering cultural activities that strengthen links, understanding and exchanges between people from both shores of the Mediterranean, and in particular, between Moroccans and Europeans, while contributing to the professionalization of the cultural and artistic sector in Morocco. It also aims to foster contacts and opportunities of cooperation between cultural operators from both regions especially addressing an younger audience.New Modernised Social Security Coordination system to support mobility in the EUSince 1st of May 2010, two new regulations on social security have become applicable in the EU. These regulations (N°s 883/2004 and 987/2009), also called the Modernised EU social security coordination, aim to guarantee that rights in the area of sickness, insurance, pensions, unemployment and family benefits are preserved in the event of moving within the European Union.A Digital Agenda for EuropeThe Digital Agenda is Europe's strategy to flourish as a digital economy by 2020. It outlines policies and actions to enlarge access to the benefits of the digital revolution.Culture Programme: new guidelines including a new festival strandSince the beginning of May the new version of the Culture Programme Guide 2007-2013 is available introducing a new strand for festivals specifically.
