www.on-the-move.org is a website dedicated to information about international mobility in the areas of theatre, dance, music and other performing arts disciplines. We issue a regular bulletin with opportunities for the mobility of artists and other performing arts professionals plus news, policy and resource items that specifically concern international mobility.

You are invited to send us news and announcements with specific opportunities or information, to facilitate and encourage cross-border professional mobility in the contemporary performing arts. Suitable news items will be posted on the website and is distributed to our subscribers worldwide in our newsflash.

EU culture ministers pledge to boost artists' mobility Promoting the mobility of artists and other cultural workers within Europe featured prominently among policy priorities for the next two years adopted by EU culture ministers on 21 May. Support Artservis web portal – sign the petition NOW! Artservis is a great web resource in Slovenia which promotes the international mobility of artists and cultural operators. International Composition Prize Luxembourg 2008 (deadline: 1 Jul) The Luxembourg Society for Contemporary Music announces its 7th International Composition Prize for the year 2008. Composers from all over the world – without age limitation – are invited to present new works for the ensemble Luxembourg Sinfonietta. 100% Music Songwriting Contest (deadline: 30 June/31 July) 100% Music Songwriting Contest is a music and songwriting competition open to all songwriters, from any part of the world, whether you're an amateur or professional songwriter/musician. The contest is currently accepting submissions, online or by mail.
