ROOTS FEST 2011
NLE Announcement_BALTIMORE
Communities can overcome. Across the country, from the Bronx to Baltimore, from Detroit to Oakland, and everywhere in between, we face the same complex problems of neglected infrastructure, violence, illness and oppression. These issues are knitted together in a tight weave that sometimes seems impossible to break. But they are not. We can overcome them with art, culture and creativity.

Please join Alternate ROOTS, the city of Baltimore and the community bordering the Highway to Nowhere, artists, organizers, educators and leaders in a three-day dialogue, Art, Culture & Creativity: A National Learning Exchange, Transforming everyday lives of everyday people, June 22 – 24. We need your voice and your contributions to create a new road map for creating resilient communities. Be a part of history in the making.

Thank you,
Carlton Turner
Executive Director, Alternate ROOTS
