The Internationalists ask you to mark your calendars on March 27th for a happy-hour celebration of 'World Theatre Day' from 5pm-7pm at the Zipper Theater in Manhattan.
'World Theatre Day' was created in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI). Each year, a figure of world stature is invited to write the WTD International Message and share his or her reflections on the theme of theatre and a culture of peace.
The Internationalists is a collective of theatre directors from around the world. By maintaining a global network of artists and producing collaboratively-created work, we foster theatrical exchange and cultural diplomacy.
