Ping Chong, Tina Landau, André de Shields, Erik Ehn, Ruth Maleczech, Dijana Milosevic, Hjalmar-Jorge Joffre-Eichorn, JoAnne Akalaitis, Ratan Thiyam, Marco Martinelli, Ermania Montanari and others will offer experiential workshops for professional directors, playwrights and actors at La MaMa Umbria International in Spoleto, Italy during 3 Programs this summer.

The 12 Annual La MaMa International Symposium for Directors takes place from July 15 – August 14, 2011 at La MaMa Umbria. There will be 2 two-week sessions, each featuring at least four teaching artists and special guests. In addition, participants visit local cultural sites, attend arts festivals and community fairs and meet local artists.
