Writing on Dance Workshop: Attakalari India Biennale 2013

Held in Bangalore, India, every two years since 2000, the Attakkalari India Biennial is a unique platform in South Asia for fresh voices in contemporary dance, digital arts and research. As part of the Attakkalari India Biennial 2013, Arnd Wesemann, the editor of tanz, Europe's leading dance magazine will facilitate Writing on Dance workshop for arts & culture journalists and writers or media persons from other fields interested in honing their writing skills. Applications for participation are invited.

Rangashankara's Theatre and Arts Appreciation Course, 2012

Rangashankara, Bangalore announces 'Rendezvous with the Masters' – their annual Theatre and arts Appreiciation Course conceptualised and facilitated by culture critic, Sadanand Menon.
Watch plays and debate them, listen to stalwarts from various art forms – theatre, movies, dance, music, arts administration and funding.

Girish Karnad, Ashok Vajpeyi, S. G. Vasudev, Uday Bhawalkar, Lynne Fernandez, Surupa Sen, Bijayani Satpathy, Anmol Vellani and Sadanand Menon take you through the nuances of creation and appreciation of theatre and the arts.

Dates: 3-4 and 9-11 November 2012
Time: 10.30am to 5.30pm
Course Fee: Rs. 5000 (Rs. 1000 for full time students)
