Project Rwanda Sharing
KIE and CUNY students participate in a cultural exchange through dance.
In July 2013, students in the M.A. in Applied Theatre participated in the fourth year of Project Rwanda: Drama and Theatre Education for Reconciliation and Development, in collaboration with the Kigali Institute for Education (KIE). This program is designed to help Rwandan young people to develop their cultural skills through drama and theatre with the aim of promoting unity and fostering dialogue. Towards these goals, the CUNY team contributed to the training of the first generation of Rwandan drama educators.
Come hear about the experiences of the faculty and student participants!
