Finally, three projects from ASEF's Creative Encounters: Cultural Partnerships between Asia and Europe will take place this month. In Lecce, Italy, Default 13 will gather 18 artists from Asia and Europe to discuss the role of cultural initiatives and government policies in revitalising urban centres. In Kaunas, Lithuania, East East 4 will focus on the management of sustainable urban landscapes and will encourage responsible and ethical architectural design practices. In Jakarta, Indonesia, a Literary Translation Workshop will offer a series of intensive sessions for authors and emerging/mid-career translators.
