A two-day festival in which Dutch artists and the people they work with investigate – together with colleagues from Afghanistan, Peru, Palestine, Guatemala, Rwanda, Serbia, Northern Ireland and other places – what connects them. Our program on 20 and 21 June 2013 is in the nature of a ‘research and networking festival’, at which we shall reach out to the world, seek sustainable partnerships, draw new inspiration, and consider the significance of community arts in the local, national and international context. This is the mission of CAL Utrecht and we invite you to join us in examining the various aspects involved.

Een tweedaags festival waarin Nederlandse kunstenaars met collega’s uit o.a. Afghanistan, Palestina, Guatemala, Peru, Rwanda, Servië en Noord-Ierland onderzoeken wat hen verbindt. Lange lijnen uitzetten, duurzame samenwerking veroorzaken, nieuwe inspiratie verschaffen, scherp en kritisch documenteren en nadenken over de betekenis van community arts in de lokale, nationale en wereldwijde samenleving van vandaag de dag. Dat is de missie van CAL Utrecht die we op 20 en 21 juni 2013 samen met u onder de loep nemen.
