In 2017, artistic director Chantal Bilodeau of The Arctic Cycle, Elizabeth Doud of Climakaze and Roberta Levitow of Theatre Without Borders were awarded a HowlRound Challenge Grant to organize a convening around theatre and climate change. The convening is happening this weekend, June 8-10, in Boston, MA. Here are three ways you can participate:

Digest #223
Dear reader,
1.
Legislative Theatre brings citizens, legislators and policymakers together into creative dialogue about the policies and laws that affect communities facing oppression.
At TONYC’s annual Legislative Theatre Festival, you will watch original plays based on the actors’ lived experiences of discrimination in New York City. You will act onstage alongside the actors to offer alternative responses to these systemic problems on an individual, institutional, or policy level. And you will submit ideas to representatives from City Council, the Mayor’s Office and the federal government, and then vote to carry these ideas forward to their respective chambers.
