Euromed Audiovisual: Access; a project based residency for Middle Eastern Documentary Filmmakers

ACCESS is a project based training initiative for film and documentary producers and company executives of the Mediterranean ENPI Countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Jordan and the Palestine Occupied Territories. The program covers issues including; development strategies production financing, co-financing and coproduction; marketing and distribution; and digital media.  ACCESS is a nine month program and is comprised of two residential workshops and online tutorials throughout the period.

Al Mawred Al Thaqafy: Culture Resource Production Award for Arab Female Artists

This program aims to encourage and support a new generation of Arab artists and writers by funding their early projects in the various fields of arts and culture. Culture Resource (Al Mawred Al Thaqafy) also provides young creators with advice on managing their productions and promoting them.  Applications accepted from young female artists and writers from all Arab countries to produce their own art projects in the various fields of arts and culture.

Katara Cultural Village Foundation, Doha, Qatar: Assistant Curator

The Assistant Curator will assist Katara’s Curator, at the Cultural Affairs Department, supporting him in the development of the exhibition and education program.  This will involve liaising with external curators/partners in the development of the curatorial concept, as well as working with them and designers, production team and installation teams and others to ensure that all arrangements are planned and executed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in teaching, history, arts, social science or like discipline. He or she should have worked in a similar institution or organization from 1 to 3 years. We are looking for an all-rounder candidate, multitasking and with a dynamic and positive attitude towards challenging tasks and demanding high quality standards. Excellent control of the English language, both orally and written is a must and preferably will speak and write Arabic also.  Having established contacts in the field, and being active in developing further contacts within the international museum and gallery world are essential.
