Art Moves Africa Funding Available









Art Moves Africa announces its next deadline for the mobility fund to
facilitate cultural and artistic exchanges within the African continent. Also a
new website.


Art Moves Africa (AMA) aims to facilitate cultural and artistic exchanges
within the African continent. AMA offers travel funds to artists, arts
professionals and cultural operators living and working in Africa to travel
within the African continent in order to engage in the exchange of information,
the enhancement of skills, the development of informal networks and the pursuit
of cooperation.


We are pleased to announce the launch of the Arts Moves Africa (AMA) web
site: www.artmovesafrica.org where you can find information on the
AMA application process, grants, deadlines and excerpts of reports from AMA
grantees.


AMA encourages applications from all corners of Africa and especially
encourages artists and cultural operators living and working in the following
countries which are yet to benefit from AMA grants: Algeria, Lybia, Cape Verde,
Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Angola, Burundi,
Central African Republic, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, Sao Tomé and
Principé, Comors, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan,
Botswana, Lesotho, Malawai, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, and Zimbabwé.


Please note that the next deadlines for AMA grants for 2007 are the 1st of
May and the 1st of September. Please check AMA’s web site for further
information.
