3rd International Emerging Artist Award

Sabrina Amrani Gallery and the International Emerging Artist Award are pleased to announce the open call for entries for the 3rd IEAA for emerging artists from all over the world. Participants are requested to submit an exhibition project consisting of a series of artworks using media of their choice or a combination of media and support. The subject should express a contemporary issue or an original concept and should be executed using innovative technique of production.

  • Manifest is now accepting submissions for the 9th International Drawing Annual. The International Drawing Annual's goal is to support the recognition, documentation and publication of excellent, current and relevant works of drawing from around the world. Submissions are expected to vary and to include a range of drawing types, but all with some relevance to the artists' understanding of the practice of "drawing."

Young Arab Theatre Fund 2014 Grants

The Young Arab Theatre Fund is now accepting applications for 2014 grants, including grants for Production, Touring and Arts & Culture Spaces. The YATF supports the development of the contemporary artistic creation of the Arab world, provides circulation and distribution opportunities for its new, upcoming and most promising talent, and encourages sustainability of the independent artistic scene in the Arab world. Young professional artists, curators and cultural operators who live and work in the Arab world are encouraged to apply.

Launched in 2006, Mawa3eed helps cover the travel expenses for artists and cultural directors so that they can present their work or participate in artistic and cultural activities and events throughout the Arab world. NAAS and Metropolis Cinema Association Arthouse Cinema Management and Programming Workshop

The Network of Arab Arthouse Screens and Metropolis Cinema Association, in collaboration with ArteEast, are proud to open the call for participation in the first specialized Arthouse Cinema Managment and Programming Workshop in the Arab world. During the five-day workshop, participants will attend sessions, case studies and panel discussions by experts in the field, as well as share experiences and participate in discussions focused on creative film programming, strategies for audience development, business of distribution, management of an arthouse cinema theater, and common issues facing arthouse cinemas in the region.
