Why the American Course? 

In an approach unique to GITIS, acting, directing, and design students collaborate in a daily theatre lab, lead byGITIS’ leading theatre masters  to examine classic Russian theatre techniques and how to apply them to their own contemporary work. This eleven-week course includes the following subjects:

Stanislavsky Technique • Michael Chekhov Technique • Biomechanics Dance • Stage Movement and Combat • Russian Language

All applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in theatre or a related field.
