NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR
hotINK 2008January 26-28, Feb 2 & 3, 2008 About hotINK Now in its 7th year, hotINK is an international play reading series, presented by Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, that has featured plays from Austria, Canada, Cuba, France, Germany, Greece, Morocco, Portugal, Québec, Serbia, Syria, The Netherlands, the U.K.and the U.S. The series brings together professional playwrights, directors and actors with the talented students and alumni of the TSOA Drama Department Undergraduate Acting Studios.
Previous festivals have presented work by U.S. writers such as Migdalia Cruz, Anton Dudley, Ain Gordon, Jeffrey Hatcher, Len Jenkin, Heather McDonald, Keith Reddin and Mac Wellman; directors have included Melia Bensussen, Robert Kalfin, Paul Lazar, Steve Mellor and B.D. Wong; working with students, alumni and guest actors such as Mireille Enos, Giancarlo Esposito, Joe Grifasi, Jessica Hecht, Jayne Houdyshell, Ellen McLaughlin, Joanna Merlin, Tom Oppenheim, Larry Pine, Jay O. Sanders and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Submission Guidelines · Submission deadline: Postmarked by September 15, 2007.· Full-length plays, in English, which have not had productions in the U.S. are preferred, but one-acts will be considered. We are currently unable to consider musicals.· Include in your submission: contact information, a writing resume, a short bio and a cast of characters, each briefly described.· Send submissions to:
