Theatre people, get out the vote! is an upcoming webinar on what we can do as a field heading into a pivotal midterm election. So many of the issues we care about are on the ballot: funding for the arts and arts workers, health care, climate action, education, and much more.
This webinar will be an organizing space where participants connect with the resources and relationships they need to start or strengthen their work on these issues. There will be time for model-sharing and for organizing and relationship-building with peers.

GRANTS
Venturous Theater Fund
Venturous Theater Fund (VTF) makes grants that support innovative approaches to theatrical production by encouraging playwrights and other theater-makers to take risks in the creation of new plays.
Updates:
Our Mission
VTF supports ambitious new work for the stage and the artists who create it. We seek to fund ambitious and challenging work by creating room for experimentation and risk in new play production. Our goal is to help writers achieve the freedom to write the plays they fear would otherwise go unproduced; and to enable producing organizations to say “yes” instead of “no” to worthy but challenging author-driven projects. We are particularly interested in seeding new play productions that involve controversial subject matter, large casts, or other perceived obstacles.
American Theatre Wing Grants
We invest financial and educational support in creatives destined to make theatre.
The Jonathan Larson Grant is an unconditional investment in individual emerging musical theatre writers—composers, lyricists, and librettists—to support and safeguard their artistic careers.
The Andrew Lloyd Webber initiative provides theatre education to students at all levels through individual and institutional giving, bringing theatre into the lives of diverse young people across the nation. Applications for Classroom Resource Grants are now open!
The next generation of musical theatre songwriters compete for a chance to showcase their composition while receiving coveted mentorship from musical theatre masters.
The National Theatre Company Grant is our annual investment in burgeoning theatre companies that innovate and shape their local community through the performing arts.
